About Amberglen

Amberglen is a community of approximately 90 single-family homes located to the west of CR 1 and south of Falcon Drive.  Homes here were developed in the early 1980s and are generally 3 and 4-bedrooms with attached 2-car garages.  Some homes in Amberglen have recent updates and inground pools.  Residents of the community have the benefit of top-rated school zoning that includes Garrison-Jones Elementary, Dunedin Highland Middle, and Dunedin High School.  Amberglen is not in a flood zone, and there are no deed restrictions or HOA requirements here.*

Dunedin (pronounced done-ee-din) is the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. The original settlers of Dunedin, Florida were proud Scottish folks who gave the city its name, and made Dunedin a sister city to Stirling, Scotland. The Dunedin Annual Highland Games have been going on since the city was founded, and they are a fun way for the city to show its proud Scottish heritage.

Dunedin is one of the oldest cities in the southern part of Florida, and its beaches have been recognized as some of the best in the country. Dunedin is also home to Honeymoon Island, which is still considered the top state park in all of Florida. The professional baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays, hold their spring training in Dunedin and baseball continues all season long with the Dunedin Blue Jays playing minor league ball. For avid golf lovers, Dunedin boasts two excellent golf courses: the Dunedin Stirling Links Golf Course, located at 620 Palm Boulevard and the Dunedin Golf Club, which is located at 1050 Palm Boulevard.

Dunedin is regularly recognized for its hiking trails, bike paths, and it’s the kind of town people love to explore on foot. The very popular Pinellas Trail extends 39 miles long and passes through downtown Dunedin offering a top attraction for those on bicycles or simply want to take a leisurely stroll. There are a lot of reasons to love Dunedin, and that is why it’s considered as one of the most famous little cities in the state of Florida.
